•  Although children five and under make up only 7% of the country's population, they account for 14% of home fire deaths
•  Adults 65 and older face a risk of dying twice the national average. For adults 85 and older, a risk that is almost four and a half times the average.

Smoke Detectors

Smoke detectors connected to your Alarm System and monitored at our Central Station provide valuable personal and property protection. Smoke detectors provide space protection and, at minimum, should be installed in bedroom hallways. For more complete protection, it is recommended they also be installed in each bedroom.

Heat Detectors

Fire heat detectors react to a preset temperature threshold or a rapid rise in heat temperature. Heat detectors are usually installed in areas vulnerable to fire but where there might be steam, smoke, exhaust, or excessive dust. Some common installation locations for heat detectors are kitchens, garages, furnace and water heater rooms, and attics.

Central Station Monitoring
Relying on neighbors to hear your alarm and call the authorities isn't in anybody's best interest. Whether the emergency is a break-in, the panic button being pushed, or a fire, the best response is a quick one by trained professionals. Our Central Station operators are at work 24-7 and ready to notify the proper authorities when an alarm signal is received.

Fire Facts

•  79% of all fire deaths occur in the home, where most people feel the safest.
•  The leading cause of fire deaths among young children was a child or children playing with fire. These fires caused more than a third of the home fire deaths among children under five. More than half of the home structure child-play fires began in the bedroom. Matches or lighters were used in roughly 75% of the child-play home fires.
